To further implement the "Shanghai Action Plan for Cultivating the 'Metaverse' New Track (2023-2025)" and respond to the "Shanghai Implementation Plan for Strengthening the Precise Supply of Talent in Key Fields and Dynamically Adjusting Higher Education Enrollment Scale" issued by the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, the College of Art Design and Media at East China University Of Science And Technology has collaborated with SHANGHAI CHINGMU VISION TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD and UWA Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. to jointly establish the "Metaverse Content Innovation Laboratory."
The laboratory aims to promote industry-academia-research collaboration, focusing on new digital cultural experiences such as AI digital humans, motion capture, virtual filming, and IP livestreaming. Its primary tasks include textbook compilation, curriculum development, professional competitions, research project applications, and technical training.
